Vision and Mission Statement

The organisation’s vision is: we make sure health and social care services provide people with safe, effective, compassionate, high-quality care and we encourage care services to improve.

Our mission statement is: The Station Practice aims to provide holistic and inclusive healthcare to all its patients.  In particular, try to reduce health inequalities through encouraging patients to access available help.  We consider physical and mental wellbeing is equally important and aim to support our patients to try to achieve balance.

Our values are: Excellence – being a high-performing organisation. Caring – treating everyone with dignity and respect. Integrity – doing the right thing. Teamwork – learning from each other to be the best we can.

Integrated Care Board (ICB)

Integrated care boards (ICBs) replaced clinical commissioning groups (CCGs) in the NHS in England from 1 July 2022.

An integrated care board or ICB is a statutory NHS organsation which is responsible for developing a plan for meeting health needs of the population, managing the NHS budget and arranging for the provision of health services in a geographical area.
