NHSE Campaign 'Love Your Cervix' to increase awareness about the importance of cervical screening
On Thursday 19 June 2025, the NHSE is launching a brand-new campaign across the South East called Love Your Cervix to increase awareness about the importance of cervical screening, encourage those eligible to attend a cervical screening appointment, and help support healthy, lifelong screening behaviours.
Why is this campaign needed?
In the South East, uptake for cervical screening among a younger cohort is under 60% across some practices compared to the wider eligible age group of 25-64. The overall national target is 80%.
This leaflet is for women considering cervical screening and is available in English, Arabic, Bengali, simplified Chinese, traditional Chinese, French, Gujarati, Polish, Portuguese, Punjabi, Urdu and Hindi.
Cervical screening saves lives. Don’t ignore your invite – call the surgery to book an appointment with one of our nurses.

MMR call / recall
Measles Mumps and Rubella are highly infectious conditions that can easily spread between unvaccinated people. Getting vaccinated is important, as these conditions can also lead to serious problems including meningitis, hearing loss and problems during pregnancy. Two doses of the MMR vaccine provide the best protection against measles, mumps and rubella.
If you receive an invitation for an MMR vaccination from the national campaign that is currently being run, please book an appointment with one of our Practice Nurses by contacting the surgery after 2pm Monday – Friday on: 01424 464756.
