Our team are committed to providing high quality patient care and staying up to date with the latest clinical guidance. All clinical and non-clinical staff are required to complete regular mandatory training.

The practice will be closed from 12:30pm for staff training on the following dates:

NHS 111 directs patients to the service that is best able to meet your needs taking into account your location, the time of day you are calling and the capacity of local services. 111 is free to call at all times. You can go online to www.111.nhs.uk 24 hours a day.

Hastings Primary Care Hub

Is located on the ground floor of Station Plaza Health Centre. Hastings Primary Care Hub telephone number is 01424 884410 and the opening hours are now Monday – Friday 08:00-18:30 and weekends and BH 08:00-20:00. The hub provide advice and treatment for a range of minor illnesses and injuries.

Please note this is not a drop in service - an appointment must be made prior to attendance.

Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

Call 999 in a medical or mental health emergency. This is when someone is seriously ill or injured and their life is at risk.

Mental Health Support When We Are Closed

If you need urgent help with your mental health while the surgery is closed, support is available:

• Out-of-hours crisis prevention service at St Leonards Wellbeing Centre

• Open 7 days a week

  • Weekdays: 6pm – 10.30pm

  • Weekends: 3pm – 10.30pm

• Provides recovery-focused support to help you manage your mental health, stay well, and prevent crisis

Our local A&E Department is at the Conquest Hospital, The Ridge, St Leonards-on-Sea, East Sussex, TN37 7RD.

Please remember that A&E is for true accidents and emergencies. If you attend with a minor illness you will wait for a long time to be seen and also delay care to those who need it. If you are unsure whether you should go to A&E out of hours please call 111.
