We operate an appointments system for all our surgeries. If you require an on the day appointment please call as soon after 08:00 as possible as these appointments often go fast. If you have an emergency which cannot wait, a doctor is always prepared to see you.
If you wish to see a particular doctor at a specific time, we recommend you book well in advance. You will understand that we cannot offer a wide range of appointments to patients booking only 24 hours ahead. Our receptionists are instructed to book any patient on the same day if the case is urgent. It may be helpful if you are able to give the receptionist an idea of the nature of your complaint.
If you or your child has a rash or infectious disease, please inform the receptionist on arrival. If you have a problem you suspect may take longer than usual, please ask the receptionist to book you extra time.
Appointments are available to be booked 4 months in advance.
You can now book appointments and order repeat prescriptions online via
(Please note: You will need to register for this service. Please contact the surgery for registration details or click here to register online). You can find out more about Patent Access here.

Sometimes it is possible to give you the help you need over the phone. If you would like to speak with a doctor or nurse, please leave brief details and your contact telephone number with the receptionist. The clinician will call you back.
If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
You can now see a GP or other healthcare professional during:
- weekday evenings between 6.30pm and 8.00pm
- Saturdays and Sundays
Appointments may be available before 6.30pm in some areas. To book an appointment, talk to your GP practice or visit their website. You may be able to get an appointment on the same day if required.
Depending on your area, you may be offered an appointment at one of these locations:
- your GP practice
- another local GP practice
