Saturdays are open for Extended Access only (please attend if you have an appointment booked with the HCA or Nurse)

Please ensure that you order your prescriptions in advance so that you will not run out of medication during the period the surgery is closed

Need to see a doctor? NHS 111 can help

NHS 111 directs patients to the service that is best able to meet your needs taking into account your location, the time of day you are calling and the capacity of local services. 111 is free to call at all times. You can go online to www.111.nhs.uk 24 hours a day.

NHS 111 online is for people aged 5 and over. Call 111 if you need help for a child under 5.

Hastings Primary Care Hub

The nearest NHS walk-in centre is located on the ground floor of Station Plaza Health Centre. The Station Plaza walk in centre telephone number is 01424 884410 and the opening hours are now Monday – Friday 08:00-18:30 and weekends and BH 08:00-20:00. NHS walk-in Centres provide advice and treatment for a range of minor illnesses and injuries.

Please note this is not a drop in service - an appointment must be made prior to attendance.

Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

Call 999 in a medical or mental health emergency. This is when someone is seriously ill or injured and their life is at risk.

Staying Well Space for MENTAL HEALTH CRISIS: The Staying Well Space is an out-of-hours mental health crisis prevention service, provided at our St Leonards Wellbeing Centre. Open 7 days a week, the service provides recovery-focused support to help you manage your mental health, stay well and prevent crisis from 6pm to 10.30pm on weekdays and 3pm to 10.30pm at weekends.

Emergency Care

If you or someone you are with finds themselves in a life-threatening situation call 999 and ask for an ambulance. 

Please go to A&E Department if it is a life-saving emergency.

Our local A&E Department is at the Conquest Hospital, The Ridge, St Leonards-on-Sea, East Sussex, TN37 7RD.

Please remember that A&E is for true accidents and emergencies. If you attend with a minor illness you will wait for a long time to be seen and also delay care to those who need it. If you are unsure whether you should go to A&E out of hours please call 111.
